Downloading Transactions from Your Bank

Here's how to download your transaction history from the most popular banks.

Chase

  1. Log into chase.com
  2. Select your account
  3. Click "Download account activity"
  4. Choose your date range
  5. Select CSV as the format
  6. Click "Download"
  7. Bank of America

    1. Log into bankofamerica.com
    2. Go to your account
    3. Click "Download Transactions"
    4. Select date range (up to 18 months)
    5. Choose "Spreadsheet (CSV)"
    6. Click "Download"
    7. Wells Fargo

      1. Log into wellsfargo.com
      2. Select your account
      3. Click "Download Activity"
      4. Choose "Comma Delimited Spreadsheet (CSV)"
      5. Select your date range
      6. Click "Download"
      7. Capital One

        1. Log into capitalone.com
        2. Go to your account
        3. Click "Download Transactions"
        4. Select CSV format
        5. Choose your date range
        6. Click "Download"
        7. Discover

          1. Log into discover.com
          2. Select your account
          3. Click "Download Activity"
          4. Choose CSV format
          5. Select date range

          7. Credit Unions

            Most credit unions use similar processes:

            1. Log into your online banking
            2. Find "Account History" or "Transactions"
            3. Look for "Export" or "Download"
            4. Select CSV or OFX format
            5. Choose your date range
